Route
The Route is not set, you get the points you have to go to, and where you need to be each night, then it's up to you which way you get there. We can tell you this, it will be up to 2000 miles, on sometimes narrow roads, steep hills and long day's driving! You are not allowed to use sat nav's, so get yourself a UK map. You are not allowed to use M roads, no motorways or roads with M designation in it (A1/M), yes you can use dual carriageways! There will be some roads that everyone will have to travel on, as some of the tasks will involve going a certain way. The 2012 Taylor Run will have more emphasis on fun, to that end, some days will be very short driving and will include "fun" things. Day 1 Felixstowe to Bath Day 2 Bath to Newquay Day 3 Newquay to Hereford Day 4 Hereford to Barmouth Day 5 Barmouth to Liverpool Day 6 Liverpool to Whitby Day 7 Whitby to Felixstowe Each day will include at least one meeting place, this is to make it easier to see each other en-route as we have found that its fun to drive along with someone else for a while, before going off your own interesting and diverse way to the next location.
Sounds
straight forward?... Well it won't be, we'll have some tasks to do on the way,
and certain roads you must go on, just to make it more fun
