The Taylor Run 2012 starts on Saturday 1st September, this will include a document check and a quick vehicle check.

You will then be free to do what you wish, drink, eat, look around the other cars, or just chill out.

Upon signing in you will receive some information sheets-

• Stop over points (No route as its up to you how you get there)

• The “Task” list

• Basic rules

• Important phone numbers

• Emergency procedure

• Mileage & Time sheet

As well as driving around the UK, The Taylor Run 2012 will also include tasks, so on your way around the UK, going from point to point, there will be some items that you have to find and collect, or things to do.

Finish will be on Friday 7th September, hoping to be arriving back at Ipswich around lunchtime. In time to have a spot of lunch, a couple of drinks while we wait for everyone to turn up, then enjoy some celebrations.  There will be an address to thank you all, and certificates for everyone that takes place.  Then it's party the night away!!!

On the Friday evening make your way home and tell all your friends about the fun you had, and get them in on The Taylor Run 2013

For 2012 more meeting points will be arranged, and more interesting things to do.

Expenses to consider will include;

• Fuel

• Food

• Drink

• Hotel accommodation

• Repairs

Fuel is obviously dependent on what you’re driving, so maybe you should take that into account when choosing your car.

Hotel/Accommodation will hopefully be at a reduced rate (negotiations are taking place).

Repairs, well, that depends on what state your car is in, and what state it ends up in, but be aware you could be doing up to 2000 miles, so make sure your car is up to it!  (I dare say no one will do over 1000 miles on Taylor Run 2013)
