Meningitis UK has a single focus - to find a vaccine to protect against all forms of meningitis and associated diseases.

Meningitis UK's 'Search 4 a Vaccine Campaign' aims to raise £7 million to help fund cutting-edge research to develop a vaccine against Meningitis B, which causes almost 90% of cases in the UK and for which there is currently no vaccine.

We ask that every team taking part raise a minimum of £500 for meningitis UK to take part in The Taylor Run 2012, you can raise more of course, which would be fantastic!!

If you raise more than £500 you are welcome to give the excess to any other UK based/registered charity, but our focus is on meningitis UK and we would be very grateful for every penny to go to them.

Raising the money is as easy or as hard as you make it, when you sign up you will receive a fundraising guide along with a couple of other documents to help make the whole process clearer and easier for you.  All money donated online should go through Taylor's forever fund page on the meningitis UK website.

We are asking everyone that takes part in The Taylor Run 2012 to set up their own fundraising page via Taylor's page on the meningitis UK website;-

• Go to Taylor's page-  www.meningitisuk.tributefunds.com/fund/taylor+deakin+westley-smith/showfund/

• Click "Start fundraising"

• Choose "For a sponsored event"

• Fill in all your details and press "save"- you will then be sent an email to confirm

• Click the confirmation link in the email

• Set up your fundraising page, using your team name or your own name

• Click accept terms, and click save

• You are now set up to raise money going through Taylor's page

• Make sure you tell everyone how to find your donation page

• Get the money rolling in!!!
